Currently, 62,247 people live in Valverde, of which approximately 43,000 correspond to Las Tablas (calculated by applying an average occupancy of 3.5 people per dwelling to the 12,272 homes in the area). Las Tablas is the kilometer 0 of Madrid's Green Cycling Ring. It is a cycling and pedestrian route heavily used daily by citizens, which encircles the city of Madrid for over 60 km. Las Tablas also hosts several corporate headquarters, such as Telefónica's campus, Distrito Telefónica, where about 15,000 employees work. The campus, Telefónica's headquarters since 2007, is made up of a series of glass buildings forming an H-shaped plan. The campus is north of the M-40 ring road. Additionally, other headquarters located in Las Tablas include those of Dragados y Construcciones, FCC's Citizen Services Group, Seguros CASER, BMW, Renault, Peugeot, Hyundai, Huawei, Capgemini, Mediaset España, and FON.
